40th Anniversary Season 2026-2027


Rising Stars is back! This five-Saturday theater workshop gives young performers the opportunity to build acting skills, develop characters, rehearse an original short play, and perform for family and friends.

Students will spend each Saturday learning through theater games, acting exercises, rehearsal, voice and movement work, and ensemble-building activities. The program culminates in a final family performance on Saturday, October 10.

Grades 3–5
Saturdays, September 12–October 10, 2026
Check-in: 8:45–9:00 a.m.
Workshop: 9:00–11:00 a.m.
Final performance: 10:30 a.m. on October 10

Grades 6–8
Saturdays, September 12–October 10, 2026
Check-in: 12:15–12:30 p.m.
Workshop: 12:30–2:30 p.m.
Final performance: 2:00 p.m. on October 10

WHAT STUDENTS WILL DO

Each session includes physical and vocal warmups, theater games, acting instruction, rehearsal, and opportunities to develop performance skills. Over the five weeks, students will work together to create and rehearse an original short play.

Fall 2026
Auditions SIGN UPS are open! The year is 1985, a wannabe rock star and life of the party is left at the altar. Robbie’s life as wedding singer extraordinaire is changed. Follow The Wedding Singer’s ups and downs from New Jersey to Las Vegas, in a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up.

Winter 2027
The royal family is enjoying a summer celebration. Two young princesses are playing with the new friend they have created, but things turn Frozen as Elsa accidentally injures sister Anna. Anna’s head is freed from the ice and memories of the accident with the help of the Hidden Folk. Join us while we learn how two young ladies grow up and learn to Let It Go.

Spring 2027
The story of six wonderfully quirky middle schoolers who compete for glory in a high-stakes spelling bee, revealing hilarious and heartfelt stories along the way in the Tony Award winning musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Summer 2027
From Andrew Lloyd Webber, a broadway musical based on the story of Joseph. Follow a story of jealousy and salvation next summer when BCT presents Joseph and the Amazing Technocolor Dream Coat.
